Jewel is an integrated project at the Singapore Changi Airport that creates a multi-sensory experience of nature within a climate-controlled glass dome. An eight-acre garden is draped over interior retail space and terraces down nearly 30 meters to a central gathering space. Restaurants and cafes as well as an event plaza can all be accessed from within the garden. Visitors can experience a light and water show at the center of the building, where water and captured rain fall from the roof becoming a projection screen.
Julie completed this project while she was a Partner at PWP Landscape Architecture. Julie was the Project Manager for this project and collaborated extensively with both the Client Team and the Design Team to deliver the landscape design vision. Construction Completion is expected at the end of 2018.
